Many don’t agree, but Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas is making the safe play holding out

Entering the final year of his contract with the Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas has announced he plans to hold out of mandatory camp until his contract situation is resolved.

Thomas made the holdout official in a statement posted to social media, and made his desire to remain a Seahawk prominent.
