Auburn – Kam Martin, Junior

Guz Malzahn likes his offense to catch defenses off guard and be fast. Well, he may have a pretty good running back to do just that in 2018.

Kam Martin is anticipated to take over the feature back duties that were handled by Kerryon Johnson who is now a Detroit Lion. Martin is fast, really fast. He could be one of the fastest running backs in the college world, and he looks to prove it.

Martin is definitely on the smaller end of the spectrum when it comes to running backs. 5’10 and 185 pounds may not be the size of the prototypical every down back, but you simply cannot deny his talent. He is honestly capable of scoring every time he takes a handoff or catches a pass.

Another name to watch out for is JaTarvious Whitlow, a former high school receiver and quarterback who came to Auburn as a three-star athlete and redshirted last year.
