Chicago Bears: The 5 Best Moments of the Past Decade

#1: Bears hammer Seahawks in the divisional playoff (2010)
This was the high water mark of the last great Bears era. For one instant it looked like all the risks they’d taken since their defeat in the Super Bowl were paying off. Julius Peppers had revitalized the defense. Jay Cutler was steadily emerging into a true playmaker at quarterback under the direction of new offensive coordinator Mike Martz. Everything clicked at Soldier Field in this game.
The atmosphere was unforgettable. James Cornelison singing the national anthem. Cold weather with snow flurries falling. A hot crowd filled with almost nothing but ravenous Bears fans. Then just moments into the game, Cutler finds tight end Greg Olsen for a 58-yard touchdown. That was it. The game was over. Seattle didn’t have a chance.
The Bears opened up a 28-0 lead before the Seahawks could get anything going. They were spearheaded by Cutler who accounted for four touchdowns, two passing and two rushing. It ended 35-24, sending them to the NFC championship.
