NFL: One breakout star for each team in the 2018 season
The fact that the Buffalo Bills were willing to trade away Cordy Glenn this offseason speaks to how much confidence they have in Dion Dawkins.
The Temple product emerged as a solid, dependable starter for them last season en route to making the playoffs for the first time since 1999. The fact he did this at Glenn’s position of left tackle made it even more impressive.
Dawkins now doesn’t have to worry about experience issues and is firmly entrenched at the position. The question will be what happens when he has a stationary quarterback to protect be it rookie Josh Allen or free agent signee A.J. McCarron.
