NFL: One breakout star for each team in the 2018 season
Many Giants fans were disappointed about B.J. Goodson in 2017. Not because he was bad or anything. More because he played so well but wasn’t able to finish what he started.
Goodson only managed to complete seven games last season, but he was a constant factor during that stretch with 53 tackles, two passes defended and a forced fumble. Now New York is shifting to a 3-4 defense under James Bettcher, and Goodson will likely move to the inside.
He’s got the skill set to thrive in that spot, but it will be interesting to see how quickly he can adapt.
