John Johnson. . team. 51. . S, Los Angeles Rams.

Wade Phillips is a maestro of defense. While pass rush is his specialty, people often overlook how superb he’s been with the secondary for years. Safety John Johnson had a tremendous rookie season. In 11 starts he had 71 tackles, one interception and 11 passes defended.

Now he’s firmly entrenched in the Rams system with valuable experience under his belt. If that defensive line is as dominant as it’s shaping up to be, Johnson could reap the maximum rewards in coverage.
