Which players will be the breakout stars for their respective NFL teams in 2018?

Carson Wentz, Joe Schobert, Kwon Alexander, and many other young players in the NFL had their breakout seasons in 2017. For some, it resulted in their first career Pro Bowl selection, personal accolades, and even a Super Bowl ring.

Looking towards 2018 a new crop of young players are set to make a name for themselves in the NFL after perhaps not having the start of their careers they dreamed of.

When looking for the breakout players for 2018, George Stockburger, Sayre Bedinger, and Erik Lambert took a couple of things into consideration: chances to start, injury history, and a poor rookie campaign.

Not every player primed for a breakout year is a rookie, some have cut their teeth in the league for years and haven’t gotten their chance in the spotlight. Many are entering their sophomore years after being injured, undrafted free agents, or late draft picks who now have a chance to start.

We’ve compiled one player from each team who fits some or all of those categories, who could break out in 2018.
