6th Round:  Parry Nickerson (CB, Tulane) – B+

It’s beyond puzzling how Nickerson fell so far to the 6th round. After a great combine performance that included a 4.32 in the 40-yard dash, it looked like his stock was up. He may be undersized but his athletic prowess along with some high-quality ball skills means the Jets may have added a nice piece to their secondary for pennies.

6th Round:  Foley Fatukasi (DT, UConn) – B

The defensive line gets another jolt of help late with Fatukasi. He too is another of those bigger defensive tackles who boast a good mix of strength and quickness. This new NFL is less about complete backs and more about complete backfields. Teams look to manage with a set of backs who do different things well rather than trying to get one back who does it all. Cannon is one of those undersized but highly agile types who are quick and dangerous with the ball in his hands. He needs to put on weight but he’s scat option with return ability.
