9. San Francisco 49ers

42. There is never any crime in wanting to safeguard your prized new quarterback. Mike McGlinchey will help the 49ers do just that for Jimmy Garoppolo. He’s a functional pass protector but will be at his best helping them open up the ground game, where he excelled at Notre Dame. Grade: B. OT. Notre Dame. Mike McGlinchey . 9. player

10. Arizona Cardinals

10. player. 32. Sometimes it’s a mixture of luck and opportunity that gets a team exactly what they need. The Cardinals were desperate for an answer at quarterback. Josh Rosen isn’t perfect but he can be a special talent and doesn’t lack the confidence. Major chip on his shoulder. Not a bad thing. Grade: A-. QB. UCLA. Josh Rosen

11. Miami Dolphins

59. Sometimes you just need to go with the best player on the board. Safety isn’t the biggest need for the Miami Dolphins but Minkah Fitzpatrick had no business falling out of the top 10. He’s an instant playmaker for that secondary with an All-Pro ceiling. So versatile. Grade: B+. S. Alabama. Minkah Fitzpatrick . 11. player

12. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

48. Building strength on strength was the strategy here. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers wanted their defensive line stacked. Vita Vea is a load at 347 lbs but moves with surprising explosion and power. Still, it feels like they missed a big opportunity to land a top safety or corner. Grade: B. DT. Washington. Vita Vea . 12. player
