5. Denver Broncos

N.C. State. Bradley Chubb . 5. player. 45. Bradley Chubb and Von Miller? That’s just not fair. Then again John Elway has always been a pragmatist who understands pass rush is vital to defensive success. Chubb is violent, technically sound, quick and strong. He’s not overly explosive but he doesn’t need to be. Grade: A. EDGE

6. Indianapolis Colts

Notre Dame. Quenton Nelson . 6. player. 46. The logic was dripping from this pick. Chris Ballard didn’t need to overthink it. Andrew Luck is the sole key to a quick turnaround for the Indianapolis Colts. Ensuring his security was a top priority. Quenton Nelson is a ready-made animal at guard who will keep his pocket squeaky clean. Grade: A. OG

7. Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills clearly had a type of quarterback they’ve been after. They wanted a pocket guy with a big body and bigger arm. Well, they got him. Josh Allen has immense upside with a perfect skill set for that city. Still, his accuracy and leadership question marks can’t be ignored. Grade: C+. QB. Wyoming. Josh Allen . 7. player. 16

8. Chicago Bears

57. The Bears have typically targeted players with great physical upside but limited experience and polish. That changed this year. They took an experience, instinctive, athletic and fast linebacker who led one of the best defenses in college football. Roquan Smith fits them perfectly. Grade: A. ILB. Georgia. Roquan Smith . 8. player
