Guards

The Patriots appear to be set at guard with Joe Thuney and Shaq Mason starting on the left and right sides respectively. Mason is set to become an unrestricted free agent after the 2018 season, but the Patriots aren’t likely to spend a draft pick on a guard for that reason. Ted Karras and the newly-signed Luke Bowanko provide solid depth in the interior as well. If the Patriots do bring a rookie in, it will most likely be as an undrafted free agent rather than a draft pick. Here’s a look at the 11 prospects who fit the Patriots mold, many of whom will be available after the draft.
