Baker Mayfield (QB, Oklahoma):  New York Jets at #3

He has his critics but the bottom line is Baker Mayfield has done nothing to show people that he isn’t anything other than a top five pick in this draft. He’s a Heisman winner. He was ridiculously productive at Oklahoma and seems to embrace his role as a (somewhat rebellious) leader. That sounds like the sort of guy who is a perfect fit for the New York Jets. Don’t forget they had great success with another undersized QB in Ryan Fitzpatrick. Mayfield is even better.

Josh Rosen (QB, UCLA):  Buffalo Bills at #12

Of all the QBs in the top 10 conversations, the hardest one to pin down is Josh Rosen. Some feel he should go #1 overall, others think he belongs in the latter half of the 1st round. Much of this is due to his relative lack of higher ceiling and questions about his attitude. Still, he’s the most pro-ready in the draft by a considerable margin and brims with both arm talent and confidence. He can start right away. If any team will jump all over that, it’s the Buffalo Bills. It’s either that or ride A.J. McCarron into the future.
