5th Round

If somebody was going to seek a prospect that looks like an NFL tackle, they’d zero in on Brandon Parker. The former teammate of Tarik Cohen has a lot going for him. He’s a giant at his position at 6’7″ with long arms in excess of 34 inches. He doesn’t lack for a physical side and can handle himself well enough in pass protection. It’s clear though he has a number of technical issues that need sorting out. That’s where having Harry Hiestand is such a blessing.. OT. North Carolina A&T. Brandon Parker . 5. player. 57

6th Round

57. When they call somebody a “man” in the football business, that’s kind of a big deal. Skyler Phillips is a man. That is to say, he’s an absolute powerhouse. He may not be the tallest or longest among offensive linemen, but he is certainly one of the strongest. There are plenty of highlights showing him manhandling defensive linemen and literally throwing them to the ground. He’s already a good pass protector. He needs someone to teach him how to run block better.. OG. Idaho State. Skyler Phillips . 6. player

7th Round

57. It may look like the Bears are done adding to their quarterback position but it feels like they might have one more minor move in mind. After all, Tyler Bray may be an experienced #3 quarterback but that doesn’t mean the team can’t do better. Matt Nagy is almost certain to get inside info on Logan Woodside from his former pupil Kareem Hunt who played the QB at Toledo. Woodside isn’t known for size or a big arm but the guy operates with intelligence, efficiency and throws an accurate ball. He moves well and also doesn’t seem phased by pressure. All good traits.. QB. Toledo. Logan Woodside . 7. player
