Odell Beckham Jr trade rumors: 5 potential landing spots
Browns players are lobbying for the trade-happy team to acquire Odell Beckham Jr., and this deal could be the biggest of them all. In this scenario the Giants trade up to the number one overall pick in a deal with Cleveland, who sends former top pick Corey Coleman to New York for a change of scenery.
The move would allow the Giants to begin a culture change by drafting Saquon Barkley number one overall. Barkley is an extremely humble kid and he would electrify the Giants offense just as much as Beckham Jr.
Cleveland would still be in position to take their franchise quarterback second overall and find a blue-chip player on defense with either Bradley Chubb or Minkah Fitzpatrick.
The biggest question for Cleveland is whether Beckham Jr. can play with Josh Gordon and Jarvis Landry, who openly recruited Beckham Jr. to the Browns.
Landry and Beckham played together at LSU for three years before declaring for the 2013 NFL Draft. Playing together with the Tigers, the pair combined to score 27 receiving touchdowns with over 4,100 receiving yards.
There would be just as much concern for the wide receiver room as their is talent, but this deal undoubtedly makes the Browns better.
