Time is running out for the New York Giants and Odell Beckham Jr.

Odell Beckham Jr. is undisputedly one of the best wide receivers in the NFL today, but the New York Giants aren’t ready to pay him like one. Entering the final year of his rookie contract with New York, Beckham has been the subject of behavioral and off the field issues.

A recent video of Beckham Jr. in a room with suspected substances hasn’t helped the superstar receiver. Sideline outbursts, on-field fights, injuries, and questionable decision-making have apparently precluded the Giants from agreeing to a long-term deal with the 25-year-old.

While attending the NFL owners meetings, Giants owner John Mara said he is “tired of answering questions about Odell’s behavior,” and while the team isn’t shopping Beckham Jr., he isn’t untouchable on the trade market.

Beckham has also said he will hold out if he doesn’t get a new deal, limiting the Giants value with him even more.

New York will likely never receive full value for Beckham Jr. given his tantrums, injuries, and the questions brought up from the video. A new team would likely have to agree to an extension with Beckham Jr. before signing off on a trade.

Beckham Jr. played in just four games last year and has only played in all 16 games once in his four-year career. If the Giants can get anything of value for the star receiver, it might be worth pulling the trigger.

Here are five potential deals that could make sense for the Giants.
