Ndamukong Suh cancels free agent visit with Oakland Raiders
Free agent defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has canceled his visit with the Oakland Raiders, and seems likely to pick between the Rams, Saints, and Titans…
Free agent defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has been taking his time on his recent tour around the country to different NFL teams, making stops in New Orleans to meet the Saints, Tennessee to meet with the Titans, and Los Angeles to meet with the Rams.
The next team up on his destination list was supposed to be the Oakland Raiders.
Supposed to be.
The Raiders will no longer be considered for Suh, at least not with a face-to-face meeting. This, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

It’s not known why the Raiders were crossed off of Suh’s list before even making a visit, but perhaps he’s satisfied with the offers he’s received to this point, and is close to making a decision on one of the teams he’s already met with.
Right now, the favorites appear to be the Rams, but like Rap Sheet states, nothing is set in stone.
This a big blow for the Raiders, who really failed to make a high impact move in free agency. The team did sign wide receiver Jordy Nelson, Tahir Whitehead, and Rashaan Melvin who will help their team, but it remains to be seen whether or not those moves will be huge upgrades over what they previously had.
The Raiders’ roster has been given a considerable makeover since Jon Gruden came aboard, and Suh would have certainly been a big addition for a team looking to add not only to their pass rush but their defensive identity as a whole.
Without Suh, the Raiders still have options in free agency if they want to look into them. Players like Bennie Logan and Johnathan Hankins remain available.
