Northwestern running back Justin Jackson been one of the most consistently productive running backs in the Big Ten over the past four seasons.
Racking up 5,440 yards in four seasons at 4.8 yards per carry with 41 rushing touchdowns and 122 career catches, Jackson put on a show at the Combine and will force teams to question where they had probably initially graded him.
He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.50 seconds flat, and had a 38.5-inch vertical jump, a 6.81 second three-cone drill (second best among running backs), and a 4.07 second 20-yard shuttle.
His 20-yard shuttle time is the best for a running back since 2006.
Athletically, he’s one of the best backs in the draft. He’s also produced at a very high level in a good conference for four straight years. It might be time to start giving this guy his due credit.
