2018 Senior Bowl: Josh Allen, Baker Mayfield day one review

2018 Senior Bowl: Josh Allen, Baker Mayfield, and over 100 more prospects took to the field at Ladd Peebles Stadium in Mobile. Here’s a recap of the action…

The 2018 Senior Bowl is underway and the focus after day one is obviously first and foremost on the quarterback position.

Everyone wants to know how Baker Mayfield and Josh Allen fared as they took the field for the first time as teammates on the Senior Bowl’s North roster, coached by the Denver Broncos.

That last fact only added to the intrigue of the day, as the Broncos split up Mayfield and Allen to work in the same group with Luke Falk and Tanner Lee in the other group.

I thought there were a lot of nice things from all four quarterbacks on this roster, to be honest, and some even felt like Nebraska’s Tanner Lee had the best day.

With all of that said, the main attractions are certainly the two players that have a shot at both going in the top five of the 2018 NFL Draft, so let’s see how they fared…
