Dallas Goedert, TE, South Dakota State

We’ve talked about Dallas Goedert before, but the South Dakota State tight end is about to be in the spotlight nationally, really for the first time.

Thanks to the scouting community on Twitter, Goedert’s big play ability is not ‘news’ to most of us, but getting to see him play against guys like Rashaan Evans is going to be a special sight to see.

All year long, we’ve been hearing about this guy who is the ‘next’ Gronkowski or the ‘next’ Travis Kelce. I want to see how Goedert responds in this type of environment, and with so many good quarterbacks in attendance, it’s hard to see any way this doesn’t work out well for him.

This is a very deep class of tight ends at the Senior Bowl this year, and Goedert has a chance to set himself apart and cement himself as a top 50 pick if he hasn’t already.
