After being fired from Oregon, Mark Helfrich has made the transition to the broadcast booth with Fox Sports. ESPN would have to buy out his contract to add him to Monday Night Football, and they also face the possibility another college team will hire him away in a year or two.

If not for that Fox Sports contract, Helfrich would likely be higher on the list having the coaching and television experience gained from Fox.
