While Peyton Manning may have been recruiting Jon Gruden to coach at Tennessee, little did we think Manning could someday replace Gruden on ESPN. Networks have been fighting for a piece of Manning since his retirement and ESPN would love to add him to their arsenal.

One of the greatest quarterbacks of all time Manning obviously knows the game and can break it down for the viewers at home. His presence on television is already felt by being in every-other commercial shown during Monday Night Football, whether it be for insurance or pizza. He’s as likable a guy as anyone else in the game and will bring an aura to Monday Night Football.

People will watch and listen to Peyton Manning wherever he goes, and that would be the same replacing Gruden.
