Throw #3

Boy, this is a risky throw, but it’s as Baldinger says — perfect.

Mahomes has not a split second to spare as he’s about to get hit by linebacker Brandon Marshall, who is fighting through a pretty poor (but effective enough) pass protection from Akeem Hunt.

Not only that, but he has a tiny window to fit the ball through as his receiver is in pretty decent coverage already, with another defensive back in pursuit of the ball.

This pass is placed perfectly and I don’t know if a starting cornerback would have picked this ball off, but Mahomes got away with this one, throwing it off his back foot and once again showing his incredible arm strength and poise under pressure.

This kid is a playmaker.
