The debut of rookie quarterback Patrick Mahomes for the Kansas City Chiefs was about as glorious as any Kansas City fan could have possibly hoped.

We saw the big arm.

We saw the touch.

We saw him overcome mistakes.

We saw him take down the Denver Broncos on their home field.

We saw him orchestrate a game-winning, game-ending drive.

What more could anyone in Chiefs Kingdom have asked for?

The stakes in this game were low, but that doesn’t change the fact that Mahomes’ performance was impressive.
