Mark Andrews, Tight End, Oklahoma

More from NFL Mocks

I was really expecting (hoping) that Mark Andrews would put on more of a show than he did. The guy that is, in my opinion, the top tight end in the draft, finished with a respectable four catches for 52 yards and played his role, but late in the game, I wanted to see Andrews and Mayfield connecting for clutch plays.

I still view Andrews as the top tight end prospect in the 2018 draft.

He has the ability to line up in-line if you want, but where he is an asset is in the passing game and splitting out wide. He is a nightmare for defensive backs and linebackers to have to cover because of his length, athleticism, and ability after the catch.

Despite so many key losses in the offensive weaponry department for Mayfield and Oklahoma this past year (Samaje Perine, Joe Mixon, and Dede Westbrook, specifically) the return of Andrews has been key for the Oklahoma offense and he’s proven to be a difference maker all season.
