2018 NFL Draft: The 2018 NFL Draft order is slowly coming into focus, and with two weeks remaining in the regular season, here’s where things stand…

The 2018 NFL Draft season is already here for many teams’ fan bases. The playoff picture is coming into focus as the regular season winds down, and with just two games remaining, the 2018 NFL Draft order is also coming into focus.

The Cleveland Browns, losers of 1,000 straight games, are poised to pick first in this year’s draft again with the New York Giants the next in line.

Here’s the full draft order of non-playoff teams:

1. Cleveland Browns (0-14, .513 SOS)
2. New York Giants (2-12, .527 SOS)
3. Indianapolis Colts (3-11, .487 SOS)
4. Cleveland Browns (via Texans, 4-10, .504 SOS)
5. San Francisco 49ers (4-10, .513 SOS)
6. Chicago Bears (4-10, .558 SOS)
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-10, .563 SOS)
8. Cincinnati Bengals (5-9, .473 SOS)
9. Denver Broncos (5-9, .482 SOS)
10. New York Jets (5-9, .531 SOS)
11. Arizona Cardinals (6-8, .487 SOS)
12. Oakland Raiders (6-8, .509 SOS)
13. Washington Redskins (6-8, .531 SOS)
14. Miami Dolphins (6-8, .549 SOS)
15. Los Angeles Chargers (7-7, .473 SOS)
16. Green Bay Packers (7-7, .531 SOS)
17. Baltimore Ravens (8-6, .442 SOS)
18. Detroit Lions (8-6, .487 SOS)
19. Seattle Seahawks (8-6, .487 SOS)
20. Dallas Cowboys (8-6, .491 SOS)

That is where things stand as of right now for the non-playoff teams, and obviously, plenty can change between now and the end of week 17. That’s a given.

More from NFL Mocks

What’s likely not going to change is the team picking at the very top, and that’s the Cleveland Browns.

The Browns are now poised to have two top four draft choices, and with new general manager John Dorsey taking over, it’s going to be critical that the team picks two franchise altering players with those picks.

Right now, many assume that a quarterback will be the focus of that top pick, but I don’t know that that’s set in stone or anything.

The Browns do need to ensure they get star players at key positions, and this draft could be great for them getting a franchise quarterback and possibly another stud offensive lineman, like Texas’ Connor Williams.

There will be plenty of speculating from now until the draft, and the Browns obviously control things this year.
