The Denver Broncos are obviously going to have to start fresh at the quarterback position this offseason, but that won’t be the extent of the rebuilding process with this team.

The offense needs some significant upgrades at almost every position, so they can finally put together a competitive squad that doesn’t have to rely solely on the abilities of their extremely talented defense.

Denver’s defense won’t see much of a dropoff next year, so this mock draft will focus heavily on upgrading the offensive side of the football.

Right now, the Broncos are projected to have four picks before the start of the fourth round, with a compensatory pick expected after the loss of Russell Okung. The Broncos also own their own fourth round pick, as well as the San Francisco 49ers’ fourth round pick, so they’ll have two very high picks at the top of that round.

All of that said, this is a critical offseason for John Elway, whose team has finally lost enough players from the Super Bowl 50 roster that he can justify blowing things up and almost starting from scratch, at least offensively.

Rumors are flying around Denver that the team will pursue a veteran quarterback like Kirk Cousins, but for now, we’re going to fill all holes through the draft.

Here’s a four-round mock draft for the Broncos that could get this team competing offensively week in and week out…
