Coach of the Year:  Doug Pederson

There’s no getting around facts. The Philadelphia Eagles were 6-10 last year. This season they’re tied for the best record in the NFL. They also sport one of the best quarterback and one of the best defenses in the league. All of this goes back to the efforts of Doug Pederson. He’s done a masterful job running things efficiently and keeping his players motivated. Unless there’s a giant collapse down the stretch, that award belongs to Pederson.

Rookie of the Year:  Alvin Kamara

Hopefully the injury suffered against Atlanta doesn’t force him to miss time because Kamara has been a man possessed. That is especially true over the past month. Kamara has four games left to go but is already over 1,200 yards from scrimmage with 11 touchdowns. This is despite splitting time with Mark Ingram. It’s possible Kareem Hunt may scoop the award if he misses time, but that’s a shame because the guy has literally been unstoppable.
