Jim Schwartz didn’t finish things well in Detroit but before his departure it’s hard to argue with results. He took a team that was 0-16 in 2008 to the playoffs in 2011. That is a brutal path to trek but he found a way. Finishing it was the hard part. No doubt he’d love a second chance at it. Given how dominant his defense has been of late, that chance may come sooner than people thought. Schwartz is one of the top defensive minds in the game and has already shown he can build a team from the ground up.
