Dallas Cowboys 2018 Mock Draft: Four Rounds
By Brady Lunt
Fourth Round (comp) – Kalen Ballage, RB, Arizona State
The suspension of Ezekiel Elliott hasn’t been as damaging as previously thought. While he is one of the best in the league and his absence has had a negative impact, Alfred Morris has been a capable backup.

However, Morris is a free agent this offseason as is Darren McFadden. This leaves Rod Smith as the only backup for Ezekiel Elliott heading into 2018. The Cowboys will likely look for improved depth at the position, but don’t need to spend a premium pick to accomplish it.
Kalen Ballage is a name flying under the radar, but may not be come draft time. Ballage is a specimen with an impressive combination of size, speed, and power. At 6’3″, 230 lbs Ballage is a powerful runner with size to merely run people over. Add in a sneaky potential 4.40 40 time, and you’ve got someone who appears to be a Le’Veon Bell-type player.
