Dallas Cowboys 2018 Mock Draft: Four Rounds
By Brady Lunt
Fourth Round – Uchenna Nwosu, OLB/DE, USC
The Cowboys will likely be looking to improve their pass rush for the next season. While Demarcus Lawrence has been on a tear this season, he is a soon-to-be free agent that may price himself out of Dallas. Add to the fact that David Irving is also a free agent, although restricted, and the Cowboys will need to find guys to solidify their defensive front.
Uchenna Nwosu isn’t your typical defense end. Standing at 6’2″ and weighing 240 lbs., he may be considered undersized by most. But this merely highlights his versatility as he’s capable of playing as stand-up linebacker or a down defensive end. He’s compiled 40 tackles, including 8.5 for a loss, 6.5 sacks, and an impressive 13 passes deflected.
Nwosu will be play a variety of roles for the Cowboys and improve the depth at both linebacker and defensive end.
