Lamar Jackson makes more jaw dropping plays in win
Reigning Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson and 2018 NFL Draft prospect Lamar Jackson is making jaw dropping plays again. Surprised?
If you’re not a believer in Lamar Jackson at this point, I don’t know what else the guy has to do to earn your respect.
Jackson has been somewhat of a polarizing player specifically as it relates to his prospects moving forward to the NFL. Some question whether or not his game can translate to the next level, specifically looking at his size and whether or not his body can take the physical toll the NFL will take.
It’s a fair argument, but I also think every player being considered for the next level will have to worry about the physicality and everything that comes with playing in the NFL.
Jackson, for all the hits he has taken, is still standing.
Not only that, but this kid is making big play after big play, and some of the stuff he did for Louisville against Syracuse is just ridiculous:
One play, in specific, caught my eye more than the others. I think if you watch that highlight reel, you can guess which one…

Two defenders on this play stick to their assignments, and there’s help coming from the defensive backfield. I don’t think Syracuse is so badly out of position defensively on this play that they should have failed this badly, but Jackson’s speed to the edge is just too much.
When he gets into the open field, he’s unstoppable, and delivers an iconic stiff-arm as he sprints the rest of the way to the end zone.
Jackson’s abilities as a runner are well-known, but people continue to underrate him as a passer. Wrongfully so.
This guy delivers one of the best and most accurate deep balls in the country, and when given a clean pocket, I don’t know that there’s a more dangerous quarterback in the country. He can hit any throw to any level of the field.
