The Bears will have a ton of their own free agents to sort through before next March. Many who could be set to earn a substantial pay raise. Chief among them being Kyle Fuller who’s enjoyed one of the best seasons of his young career. The same goes for Christian Jones who has filled in admirably for the sidelined Freeman. Cameron Meredith and Dontrelle Inman look like two pieces worth keeping as weapons for Trubisky moving forward, presuming good health.

Mark Sanchez has proven himself an able mentor to him and should serve as an experienced backup. Cunningham, Bellamy, and McManis all provide quality depth along with top special teams experience. When healthy Bryce Callahan is a solid cornerback who can man the nickel position. Timu has shown his value in reserve, as has Compton at guard. Daniel Brown also seem to have some chemistry with Trubisky and is solid depth.
