Ben McAdoo

At the end of the 2016 regular season, many were convinced New York Giants head coach Ben McAdoo was the next big thing. The true heir apparent to Tom Coughlin. He was the young buck with the forward-thinking mind that was willing to take calculated risks. His team bought into that for a time, but cracks started to show in the playoffs. McAdoo showed an appalling lack of control over his players, who set the tone with a boat trip down to Miami before the game in Green Bay.

Ever since that day, things have fallen off the rails. A team that was 11-5 last year is suddenly 1-9 and in a stiff competition for the #1 overall pick. Rumors persist that many players have grown tired of McAdoo, that he’s only in it for himself. Locker room problems are never a good sign for a head coach, especially one who’s in danger of finishing with the worst record in Giants history. It’s quite the fall from grace for any coach.
