Luke Falk (QB – Washington State) vs. Stanford

More from NFL Mocks

One week after being benched in a blowout loss to Arizona, Luke Falk will be back on the field. The senior, who is just 136 away from the Pac-12 career passing record, will have his hands full against a Stanford defense that excels at getting to the quarterback.

Falk, like many of the top quarterback prospects, has struggled this season. This is especially true over the last few weeks. After leading the Cougars to a 6-0 start, Falk, and the rest of the team, have fallen flat. He threw five interceptions in a loss to California before being benched two weeks later. As a mid to late-round draft pick, Falk can’t afford to struggle down the stretch.

The Stanford defense will provide a tough test for Falk and has the ability to create pressure quickly. Led upfront by defensive tackle Harrison Phillips and defensive end Peter Kalambayi, who leads the Pac-12 with nine sacks on the season, the Cardinal won’t make life easy for the Washington State quarterback.

Falk has thrown for over 350 yards in each of his two career games against Stanford and will need a similar performance to get his 2018 NFL Draft stock back on track.
