5. Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans likely aren’t going to concede they aren’t making the playoffs anytime soon, and their defense needs something.

Anything.

The Titans have a lot of cap space, which they don’t necessarily have to use, but they could do worse things with their money than invest in a linebacker like Bowman, who is not yet 30 and could pair well as an every-down linebacker with Wesley Woodyard.

Avery Williamson has excelled in run defense, but has not been as good in coverage or as a pass rusher. If the Titans wanted to upgrade their defensive front, this would be a step toward doing so.

Since Bowman is a free agent, this would be an interesting landing spot given the Titans’ need for defensive upgrades, and their chances increasing of competing for a division title if he comes aboard.
