NFL rumors: Potential Navorro Bowman destinations

2. Houston Texans

The Houston Texans’ defense is broken. Battered.

But not down for the count.

There’s an opportunity here for the Texans to replace some veteran leadership on their roster, specifically defensively. Benardrick McKinney has been excellent for them this season, but fellow starter Brian Cushing was suspended 10 games. at the start of the year for PED use, and is also very injury prone.

J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus just went down with season-ending injuries, so the Texans could be interested in a little infusion of toughness in the form of Bowmn, since some of their toughest defensive leaders are now gone for the year.

This is an intriguing option, but Houston would likely have to move some funds around as well.
