The college football season is nearing the halfway point and week six provided a little clarity when separating the contenders from the pretenders. Two top-10 teams fell, as Oklahoma was shocked by Iowa State and Michigan was knocked off at home by Michigan State.

One big reason why those two upsets took place was the play of the top 2018 NFL Draft prospects from the underdogs. Numerous players on both the Cyclones and Spartans stepped up when their schools needed them the most and helped pave the way to victory.

It wasn’t just prospects from those two programs who stepped up in week six. From projected first-round picks in the 2018 NFL Draft to undrafted free agents, there were plenty of players who raised their stock.
