2018 NFL Draft: Week 5 Prospect Stock Report
Stock Down: Defense
Kahlil McKenzie (DT – Tennessee): Tennessee was blown out 41-0 at home in week five by Georgia. While the offense was non-existent, a Volunteers defender is the one who saw his 2018 NFL Draft stock slip the most.
Reginald “Kahlil” McKenzie is a potential day two pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, but his performance against the Bulldogs threw up some red flags. As the heart of Tennessee’s defensive interior, McKenzie was overwhelmed by the Georgia rushing attack. Led by Nick Chubb and Sony Michel, Georgia ran for 294 yards against Tennessee.

The 6-foot-3, 320-pound McKenzie was consistently pushed off the line of scrimmage and turned away from the play. He recorded one tackle in the contest and was a complete non-factor. He’ll face another power run game in a few weeks when the Volunteers travel to Alabama to take on the Crimson Tide.
