2018 NFL Draft: Week 5 Prospect Stock Report
Week five of the college football season started with a bang as Washington State upset the fifth-ranked USC Trojans. While there weren’t any more upsets in the top 10, there was plenty of excitement.
Another rough outing for USC quarterback Sam Darnold has left the top pick in the 2018 NFL Draft up for grabs. If someone other than a QB is selected with the top pick, it would mark just the second time in over 20 years a QB wasn’t selected first overall in back-to-back years. Florida State safety Derwin James and running back Saquon Barkley of Penn State made their case for the top selection with stellar performances in week five.
