What would you expect from Lamar Jackson against Murray State?

Dominance and excellence.

That’s exactly what we saw.

Jackson racked up some more stats in this game against an inferior opponent, but that doesn’t mean we can’t evaluate what we saw.

Spoiler alert, it’s nothing new.

Jackson is far and away the most talented dual-threat quarterback in the country, drawing some comparisons to young Mike Vick for his ability to run faster than most running backs and throw the ball 80 or 90 yards in the air.

Jackson has next level talent, and someone is going to have a lot of fun trying to get him to be consistently great at the next level.

We saw him struggle against Clemson this season, his biggest game against a top flight defense with NFL caliber athletes, but I think we’ll see him continue to get even better as this season goes along.

Keep in mind, Jackson is still just 20 years old. He has a lot of football ahead of him.
