Running Back. Minnesota Vikings. Dalvin Cook. 5. player. 60.

Dalvin Cook has quickly become the Vikings’ featured running back, and is wearing down defenses late in games just like Adrian Peterson used to do.

I’ve got to be honest, I didn’t think the Vikings would be able to win a home game against the Buccaneers without their starting quarterback, but they (and Cook) proved me wrong.

Cook has 370 yards from scrimmage in the Vikings’ first three games, and is eating up about 20 carries per game up to this point. He’s becoming the type of threat in the running game that defenses have to gameplan around and when that happens, the passing game is opening up for Minnesota, which has two of the best young players at the receiver position in the league so far in 2017.

I’m really liking what I’m seeing so far from Dalvin Cook this season, and I think he’ll continue to ascend up this list.
