New England Patriots. Deatrich Wise. 6. player. 47. . Defensive lineman

The New England Patriots appear to have found a gem in the fourth round pick out of Arkansas.

As we noted in last week’s version of this post, Wise has exceptional quickness off the snap and has shown that pretty consistently this season for the Patriots, where he’s earning a very significant role.

He had a game-high six pressures total against the Houston Texans this past week, and is proving himself to be a dynamic presence along the defensive front for New England.

As crazy as it seems, Wise has been exceptionally productive in limited snaps. He’s played less than 40 percent of the defensive snaps for the Patriots this year, but his workload has increased every single game.
