6. Dalvin Tomlinson, DI, Giants

Dalvin Tomlinson is a grown man.

The New York Giants have had a pretty embarrassing start to their season as a whole, but the rookie defensive tackle has held his own and looks like another stud in a long line of very good players up front developed by the Giants.

The former Alabama star has not skipped a beat transitioning to the pro game. Evidence:

Yeah, that’s Zack Martin he’s going against right there.

I don’t know if it gets more impressive than that for a rookie, to go up against an All-Pro in your first regular season game and make a play like that. Young players just aren’t supposed to be able to do that.

He’s already got five run stops so far this season, and looks like he’ll be a mainstay for this Giants defensive line.
