Kareem Hunt headlines top NFL Rookies through week 2
7. Jarrad Davis, LB, Lions
After an underwhelming debut in week one, especially in terms of his coverage ability, Jarrad Davis came out in a big way on the Monday Night Football stage against the New York Giants.
He won himself over to many football fans with this hit on Eli Manning:

Davis finished his second game with three stops in the running game, a sack, and a much better performance in coverage.
As was the case for him in college, Davis’ only real struggle was staying healthy. He left this game against the Giants early due to injury, which was really just a cheap shot.
If Davis is healthy, there’s no denying the type of range he has as a playmaker for this unit. He flies around the field, makes tackles for loss, gets to the quarterback, and is capable of making plays in coverage. Hopefully he won’t miss too much time, because he’s going to be a star for the Detroit defense.
