1. Kareem Hunt, RB, Chiefs

No rookie has played better in 2017 than Kansas City Chiefs new star running back Kareem Hunt.

Hunt leads all rookie backs with 10 missed tackles forced, five total touchdowns, and a whopping 7.6 yards per carry.

Fumbling on his first NFL carry seems like a distant, laughable memory at this point for the young player that is taking the league by storm.

Hunt has an excellent combination of burst, tackle breaking ability, vision, quickness, and is obviously a three-down back. There’s nothing he doesn’t do well, at this point in time, and is giving the Chiefs a dynamic option out of the backfield.

Those five touchdowns he has through two games? Only one other player has done that since 1920. What Kareem Hunt is doing right now is historic, and he’s on his way to an MVP candidacy, forget just rookie of the year.
