Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt leads the NFL’s list of top rookies through two weeks of play. Who else made the list?

10. Garett Bolles, OT, Broncos

While Kansas City Chiefs rookie running back Kareem Hunt is stealing the show among all rookies, we can’t forget about some of the other guys around the league.

Within the AFC West, even, we were witnessing the blossoming of a franchise left tackle for the Denver Broncos prior to Garett Bolles suffering a bruised ankle bone, one that could keep him out past the Broncos’ week five bye week.

Prior to the injury, Bolles was looking like the answer to the Broncos’ woes at left tackle:

In an offensive line class that was generally considered ‘weak’, Bolles has proven to be a very nice find at the 20th overall pick in the first round for the Broncos. He came in and seized the left tackle job for the team immediately, and has obviously improved his pass blocking efficiency as well as added a nasty force in the run game.

Hopefully Bolles’ injury doesn’t keep him out too long, for the Broncos’ sake.
