Rosen’s team lost against Memphis, which doesn’t bode well for their season overall, but this was overall an okay game for him. He completed just over 60 percent of his passes, his lowest completion percentage of the season. He also threw his first — and second — interception of the season in this game, but added another four touchdown passes.

While Rosen made some critical errors in this game trying to be the hero, he also should have done enough in this game to not have to be the hero.

His defense let him down.

Combining some of the throws he made in this game along with the way his team supported his efforts to win, I’m putting Rosen neither in the ‘up’ nor ‘down’ category. He played well enough that his team should have won the game, but they couldn’t pull it out.

Rosen added his first rushing touchdown of the season in this game, giving him 15 total touchdowns through three games. It’s going to be impossible to keep him out of the Heisman conversation but this game certainly won’t help his case down the stretch if there are some minor discrepancies in voting.

As it relates to his NFL potential?

Rosen is still my QB1 for this season, ahead of Sam Darnold.
