Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens: 5 Things to Watch
By Andrew Kim
After an impressive showing against the former AFC North Champions Pittsburgh Steelers, how will the Cleveland Browns fare with the Baltimore Ravens after they shut out the Cincinnati Bengals?
After coming up short only 3 points against a team like the Pittsburgh Steelers in their week one opener, Hue Jackson and the Cleveland Browns organization have to be impressed in the competitiveness of their team. The Cleveland Browns only won one game last year, but with a performance like that, they could increase their win total from last year and be a team trending upward in 2017. Even though it was a loss, having a rookie quarterback in DeShone Kizer leading the way and showing poise in a tough game was a sight for sore eyes.
However, going into a hostile environment in Baltimore and winning seems like a tough task for the rookie quarterback.
Under John Harbaugh, the Ravens are 8-0 against rookie quarterbacks and with a defense that shut out a division rival in the Cincinnati Bengals, they could make it 9-0. It will be interesting to see if an improved Browns defense will be able to stop the run game and if Flacco will get more involved in the passing game with his receivers in the Ravens home opener on Sunday. Here are some things to watch that could key factors in determining the winner of this game.
