2017 NFL Season Week 2: Quick Picks For Every Game
By Erik Lambert
Washington Redskins @ Los Angeles Rams
The Rams are a different team this year and they proved it by hammering the Colts last week. Sean McVay now gets a chance to show his former team the Redskins what they’re missing. Kirk Cousins no doubt already does. He didn’t look like himself in the opener. Now with Aaron Donald coming back as well? The winds are blowing in one direction here.

San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle Seahawks
Seattle continues to confound people with their offensive line problems. Yet history proves that they always find a way around it. They still have one of the best defenses in the league and a talented offensive roster with a Pro Bowl quarterback. They’re also at home. Don’t expect Brian Hoyer to pull off anything magical in that building.

Green Bay Packers @ Atlanta Falcons
A rematch of the NFC championship game. Both teams are coming off big wins and both are trying to get over what were devastating losses last season. Atlanta still has all the weaponry they did during that last meeting and it doesn’t look like Green Bay fixed their secondary problems. So it will be on Aaron Rodgers to change the script.

Detroit Lions @ New York Giants
Last year the Lions visited the Giants at MetLife Stadium are were soundly dismissed 17-6. So it’s clear Matthew Stafford had problems with that New York defense. At the same time he has a new toy in Kenny Golladay while Eli Manning is wondering whether his best weapon Odell Beckham will even play. Could Detroit get some revenge? Remember they were 3-6 on the road last year.
