Detroit Lions at New York Giants: 5 Things to Watch For
By Erik Lambert
Who will draw the task of guarding Kenny Golladay?
Easily was the fastest-rising names around fantasy leagues is wide receiver Kenny Golladay. There was a buzz around the Northern Illinois product coming out of the draft. His mix of size, body control and hands made it to where he always seems to catch the ball when it was thrown in his direction. Detroit saw glimpses of it in the preseason, and then he scored two touchdowns in the opener against a pretty good Arizona Cardinals secondary.
So no doubt the Giants are aware of what the kid can do now. He’s no longer a surprise. The tougher question is who will be covering him come Sunday? Dominique Rogers-Cromartie and Eli Apple both have the size to match up, leaving Janoris Jenkins to take on the shorter Golden Tate or Marvin Jones. This is a fascinating quandary for Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.
